From our humble beginnings

We didn't know each other's names yet. Most of us still confused the Faculty of Engineering buildings with the Faculty of Science ones, and the older students laughed every time someone got lost looking for SLT2.

Year one was C++ that wouldn't compile, electronics labs where the multimeter readings made no sense, and group projects formed in the WhatsApp chat at 11pm because the assignment was due the next morning. It was also where the friendships started — the kind that didn't ask where you were from before deciding you were one of us.

We were eighty-something on the first day. We don't remember the exact number anymore. What we remember is showing up, every day, and slowly figuring out that we could do this.
