What this site is

This is the official site of the Bitwise Class of 26 — Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Buea. It is built by us, for us. Every announcement, journal, memory and student card was posted by a class member or by the class admin.

Who can post

You can post on this site if:

• You are a registered Computer Engineering student of the Bitwise '26 class.
• You have signed up with your real matricule (FE2X*###) and a name you actually go by.
• The class admin has approved your account.

If any of those isn't true, your account stays in pending and nothing you post will appear in public.

Be a good classmate

When you post a memory, a journal entry, a quote, a photo or anything else on this site, you are speaking for yourself in front of the whole class.

Don't:

• Post photos of people without their consent.
• Use this site to bully, harass, embarrass or single out any classmate, lecturer or member of staff.
• Post nudity, hate speech, discriminatory language, or anything that would get you called to the Dean's office.
• Use someone else's identity, matricule or name.
• Try to log in to an account that isn't yours.
• Upload viruses, broken files, or anything you wouldn't want a future employer to see attached to your name.

Don't misuse this platform. This is a golden one — most universities don't have anything like it. Treat it the way you'd treat the class WhatsApp group on a good day, not a bad one.

What the admin can do

The class admin can:

• Approve or reject new student registrations.
• Hide individual posts, photos, quotes or memories at any time, without warning, if they break these rules.
• Remove a student's posting privileges if they keep misusing the platform.
• Edit posts for typos or to fix things like missing matricules — but never to change what someone meant.

Photos and content you upload

By uploading a photo, quote, journal entry or memory:

• You confirm that you have the right to share it.
• You give the class permission to display it on this site for as long as the site is up.
• You can ask the admin to take it down at any time — we will.

Email and account

Your email is used for sign-in, password resets, and the very occasional admin message about your account. It is not shared, sold, or used for anything else.

Final word

This site exists because we wanted somewhere to keep four years of memory before we scatter. Don't be the person who ruined it for everyone. Be the person who made it worth keeping.
