The semester we almost lost it

Second year hit different. Suddenly the timetable had three back-to-back practicals, the lecturers stopped explaining things twice, and the CAs felt like ambush attacks.

But this was also the semester where the class became a unit. We started sharing notes without being asked. Someone always had the past papers. Someone always knew which lecturer was being lenient on submission deadlines. The senior class above us told us we'd survive — we believed them about ten percent of the time.
